The purpose of this set of regulations on machine safety within the EU is to maintain a uniform level of protection for accident prevention. The new Machinery Regulation EU 2023/1230 of June 29, 2023 replaces the previously valid Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
There is no way around the Machinery Directive when it comes to creating technical documentation for machines and plants.
