By "TIM@Word-Providing" you integrate Word-Information into the technical documentation.

Much of the information find their way in the technical documentation, are already created in the product development and so the question arises: How can these information - often available in Word - be processed in an XML content management system?

With „TIM@Word-Providing" we offer a solution to integrate the Word-information from the development department into the technical documentation. This new solution provides consistent processes without hiccups: The developer writes his documentation relevant information in Word and makes it available to the technical editor. The technical editor uses the module „TIM@Word-Providing", which is fully integrated into the XML editor TIM-XMAX of the content management system TIM-RS, in order to convert these Word-information to XML to the target structure (DTD). Therefore, the editor opens the Word-file in the XML editor TIM-XMAX, edits if necessary the contents and saves the information for further processing in the content management system TIM-RS. In this simple way Word-information can be supplied also from other divisions of the technical documentation.
